WHAT I BELIVE IN ART

I rejects the idea of a "masterpiece" or "inspiration," focusing instead on the surface of the canvas and the soul. The marks on the canvas are symbols that can represent multiple realities and truths. Starting as a figurative painter, I transitioned to abstraction, retaining traces of figurative elements while creating works where individual sections form unconscious patterns when viewed together. The creative process involves both spontaneous decisions and contemplation, with a blend of constructional and organic aesthetics. Influenced by Indian folk traditions and new media art, my figurative works celebrate human figures, while abstract pieces explore landscapes. Using oil, acrylic, and mixed media, my experiments with textures, layering, and material manipulation. The labor-intensive process celebrates the handmade, aiming to make art accessible rather than exclusive, emphasizing the importance of growth and evolving as an artist.
